Florida Apartments

The Pros: Many Florida apartments for rent will be in new construction high rise buildings with great amenities and in very desirable locations. They will often have private pools, Jacuzzis and gyms for the residences to use. Additionally, because of their often smaller size when compared to an entire home, Florida apartments can be better for smaller groups that want to stay close together and spend less money.

The Cons: When considering apartments in Florida keep in mind that you will be sharing common space with other building residences. Noise will usually have to be kept to a minimum especially late at night and common spaces like the pool will be shared. There also can be stricter rules regarding bringing pets or the number of people allowed in the unit.

The Decision: You will know what’s best for your group and your vacation when considering a Florida apartment for rent. The idea of sharing common areas could appeal to you as there’s always a chance to meet new friends and get some tips from the locals on activities in the area. An apartment gives you the conveniences of home in a smaller package, but is usually in the hottest areas of a city.

When considering booking a Florida apartment for your next vacation, there are a few things to keep in mind. Though the number of short term rentals is growing, you will have a much greater selection if you are staying three nights or more as some properties will have nightly minimums. Also, when booking a vacation rental, please keep in mind that should your plans change last minute it is sometimes harder to cancel the rental and the cancellation policy is up to the individual property owner.
